Im concerned for my friend?

My friend is really depressed Because girls keep rejecting him because he has bad teeth there not bad as in brown and decay but he has buck teeth and its causing him sphycological problems because girls cant see past the problem and like him for him.I just had a talk with him but i dont think i helped at all.He's getting braces in next year to straighten his teeth and give him his confidence back but still he has to wait 2 years for the perfect smile.Its just really getting him down im concerned he might jump off a bridge or somthing.We used to call him gay because he almost never has a girlfriend ive only seen him with 2 girlfriends but they were just sluts.He opened up and told me what the problem is and now i understand im concerened for him.The poor guy has to deal with people looking at him like he's a freak because he hasnt got perfect straight teeth i mean what the **** ? What can i say to him to make him feel better about his situation?

I have teeth like your friends to. It does get me down sometimes, and i hate photographs!! I've never had a problem finding a boyfriend but I'm sure not all men wold be interested in me. I am 25 now and i wish i had my teeth fixed when i was younger. I am a student a the minute so in the future i hope i will be able to afford a brace. I got called names at school and I'm sure people do not take me seriously because of my teeth, but that is their loss. I want to fix my teeth to make myself feel better and be able to smile without covering my mouth. A girl who is not interested in your friend because of his teeth is not really worth knowing. I hope i do get the chance in life to have the perfect teeth and i hope your friend does to!! :)

But seriously; that **** sucks; there is really nothing you can say; its just a bad situation if he is really that down about it.

just tell him hes a great person and should never take no notice of what other people think as their opinions dont matter
Reply:You can tell him first of all that those girls he dated were bitches cause they were lucky to even be with him. He needs to know that he is a great guy and a lot of times great guys get taken advantage of. I would love to meet him he sounds like a very nice friend. Just keep talking to him and if you think things are getting bad like he will kill himself go to his parents and talk to them before its too late. good luck and I hope things work out for him.
Reply:His confidence will definitely be great when his teeth are done. My daughter had problems and had to have braces. Her teeth are absolutely perfect now. Has your friend or could your friend consider having them done privately he would not have to wait 2 years then it is possible and then he would get them done asap. I did do this for my daughter it cost about £2000 but it was worth it for her. I know it does not help yet if your friend does not have the funds but perhaps you could look in the library sometimes their are people that give money for special reasons. Sorry not sure where you start on that one but certainly worth a go. Or car boot sales etc. to get extra funds for him.
Reply:tell him dont worry he will get girls when the braces are off even if he does have to wait 2 years.
