I am a Cheer leader for the Kangaroos AFL FC. Can someone tell me where I can get some false buck teeth to wear. I don't want to be conspicuous by not having protruding teeth like the other girls.

I can only find trick plastic ones that stick out a couple of centimetres. I want ones like the other girls whose teeth stick out far more.

Thanks.

Boyfriend problem??

I want to kiss my boyfriend but i need help he is shorter then me and he has buck teeth. it sucks right well he is up to my eye brow. should i lean in for him t kiss me our would it be better to be sitting down? Plzzzzz help!

Boyfriend problem??
It would be better it the two of you are sitting down, if this is the first time the two of you kissed. After that, you will get around the height issue, and standing or sitting you will not have a problem kissing.
Reply:anyway you want just go ahead and kiss him.
Reply:Sitting down sounds like a great idea. Get him on a park bench and go in for the kiss.

Infact I am going to start races in my town so that I can burn more gas and go faster and win and have my family come to the races and drink beer and bring my little trailer and make fun of you and take pride in my counrty perfered sports and favorite drivers. You are the inspiration for me. I will be the next big driver just so I can piss you off. If anyone here supports NASCAR give me a HONK HONKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah anyways I dont sleep with my family members I dont live in a trailer I dont have buck teeth I dont have a disgusting life style. For all you anti fans kiss my shiny white butt. Much love to the fans Hope to see you at PIR in November.

I support NASCAR and the anti-fans are the reason thank you so much!!!!!?
HONKKKKKK. Anti-fans just don't understand what racing really is....strategy. By being able to make the adjustments need to the prefect handling race car takes time, practice, and patience. Anti-fans can call us all "rednecks" if they want but we will all forever stand together and defend NASCAR until we are truly red!

Reply:I am also a huge NASCAR fan. As I have writen before I amd also an owner. I own stock in Lowe's so I am one of those fans Jimmy Johnson Says taank you to when he wins. REDNECK......(defined as).....n. Offensive Slang.

(1.)

Used as a disparaging term for a member of the white rural laboring class, especially in the southern United States.

(2.) A white person regarded as having a provincial, conservative, often bigoted attitude.

Yes, I'm a NASCAR FAN.....and have been working, for many, many years....I'm from the RURAL SOUTH.....SOOOOO...YEP, GUESS I QUALIFY FOR REDNECK STATUS...

I suppose that if enjoying NASCAR is considered to be REDNECK.....THEN.........SO SHOULD GOLF, BASEBALL, FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, HOCKEY, BOXING, RODEO....

Many folks are childish in thinking that just because someone likes something that they don't, it gives them the right to pass judgement on others because of their perferences....WELL....CHECK OUT DEFINITION #2....

To those that enjoy calling other folks names...I SAY....GROW UP...GET A LIFE....REALIZE THAT WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT, AND JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE LIKES SOMETHING YOU DON'T, DOESN'T MAKE THEM ANY BETTER OR ANY WORSE THAN YOU!
Reply:I have been a fan of Nascar since I was a teenager in the 70's. I always felt like these drivers were typical of the working class America. When you went to see them race, they were so greatful for the fan's support. They knew where they came from and loved to stop and talk to us like we were old friends. I have always loved this sport, and will watch it as long as I live. To those who don't like Nascar, well, I guess I won't have to worry about seeing you at the track. I don't even understand why you post in this forum. Could it be you have low self esteem and only feel better when you attack others? You should stay with the racing forums that you enjoy. Post your questions and answers there. Are you smart enough to grasp that concept? In case you nascar-haters don't get it, no matter what venom you spew at the rest of us, we'll always love our Nascar and there's nothing you can say to change our minds. Apparently, you're not as intelligent as you claim to be or I wouldn't have to point this out to you. HONK HONKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do you think is the funniest animal out there? Not too long ago I had a random encounter with a .......?

...beaver, and his wet face, buck teeth and antics just cracked me up, not to mention his wobble and looks.

What do you think is the funniest animal out there? Not too long ago I had a random encounter with a .......?
The Black-footed albatross: They have the most hilarious landings and take offs, often performing "crash landings." Their clumsy landings and take offs have earned them the name, "Gooney bird." If you get the chance to watch a video of some of these birds landing, you will simply laugh your head off. Their stubby legs and long wings are the reason why they have so much trouble landing and taking off. However, once they are in the air, they are extremely graceful.

Did you ever see that Gary Larson cartoon titled Nerds in Hell?

There was a big line of people and smoke and flames all over with little demons poking people with pitchforks. In the middle of this line of people was a real goofy lookin' guy with buck teeth and everything and he is looking at the next guy in line and he says "Is it hot enough for you?"

Nose Job do i drop out of uni and get a full time job so i can get it done in less than 4months?

I always get told by both men and woman that i have a great body shape i'm a size 8 but still have meat in the right places with great legs. The fact that i have thighs saves me looking straight.

I eat what i want a never put on the weight which usually annoys alot of my beautiful girlfriends lol. I have a huge grin which my friends find cute because of my cheeks. i have slightly buck teeth which i use 2 luv as a kid (don't ask why) but im getting braces in less than a month time. I have a slightly large head which i can cover up with a fringe so thats fine and on a good day most people find me quite pretty. However one thing thats always bugged me. Whilst everyone goes on about their weight i worry about my rather huge, wide, flat nose that takes over my face and without it i be so attractive. I get told this all the time and see it for myself when ever i c a close up picture of myself. I hate it %26amp; really really want 2 change it only i would need 2 work full time job to afford it now

Nose Job do i drop out of uni and get a full time job so i can get it done in less than 4months?
See your nose that have been with you since your birth and keep it with you for a few more days. Finish up with UNI first and then ou can always work and change your looks. But you won't look the same ever again, so be compassionate and let your nose be there for a while longer.
Reply:Yes of course. Your nose is so much more important than you equipping yourself to make a decent living for the rest of your life.

And never mind those people who could have gone to uni in your place....seeing that you don't want it.
Reply:That will look horrible on a job application. If you would leave for that, you might quit your job and leave them in the lurch, next time you think you have a good reason.

You might need counseling. Few people would describe their legs when asking a question about their nose. You may have body dysmorphic disorder.
Reply:Finish your UNI first then get the nose Job when you are earning enough

You have lived with it for years already what is a few more years besides if you are getting a brace that will be out in a couple of years so why not have the nose job at the same time you are taking the brace out it will be like a whole new you in one go!!!
Reply:The description you have given yourself so far from the neck down sounds great....but the Buck Teeth, Big Head, Big Mouth, Big Nose.... not so great maybe you should look in the mirror before you remind everybody on how 'beautifull' you are!

Dealing with my Stepson?

I'm remarried with a 8 year old son and an 8 year old stepson. While my own son is healthy, articulated, goodlooking and growing up into a fine young man, my stepson has severe enzema, asthmatic, buck teeth from thumb sucking, chronic allergies and a notable lisp. While I feel that I'm the best dad that I can be, my wife is constantly observing my treatment of "Our sons" Don't get me wrong, I love them both but is it possible to love my stepson "More" than my own son. Lastly, my stepson's father doesn't particpate in his life and I have been a "father" to him, teaching him about sports, life and family. My stepson occassionally misbehaves in school, eats extra meals at lunchtime and looses everthing from homework to video games...I'm I on the wrong track?

Dealing with my Stepson?
it must feel nice to have the pretty kid huh? grow the hell up...you picked your wife knowing she has a kid. I cant believe you're sitting here complaing that hes not hansdom enough for you! Maybe he does get into trouble once in a while but maybe its cause he dosen't have his real father! As for the thumb sucking and buck teeth thats yours and his mothers fault. Make him stop sucking his thumb and buy him some braces when hes a lil older!!!
Reply:It sounds like you're doing the right thing by standing in there and being a "father" to your step-son. GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Not enough people do that.

What you might be feeling ( all my free advice comes from watching too much Dr. Phil, so take this with a grain of salt ) is somesort of sympathy for your step-son. He's not like your biological son at all, and you're feeling abd about it. You want to do something to help him. Does that sound about right? It's not that you love one more than the other. You love one DIFFERENTLY from the other.

As for the misbahaving at school, have you sat down with him and tried to get to the root of his problems?

Hope some small bit of this helps.
Reply:My aunt (by marriage) went through something similar when she married my uncle, who has a daughter from a previous marriage, who has Down Syndrome. They went on to have two more children who are not impaired in any way, and I know that it was difficult for her to balance the emotions of the step-mom/biological mom issue. You should cut yourself some slack by realizing that you do love your sons differently, but you need to stop comparing them. Your stepson's physical attributes will likely sort themselves out as he grows up and grows into them, and right now he needs you in his life as a positive male role model, so you should make plans to hang out with him, just the two of you, while your wife hangs out with your biological son.
Reply:How long did you two date? Been Married?

This kids problems can all be solved with a few simple, long term parenting tips.

Help, stepsonny get his room and things organized. Show him where everything belongs and have him put things away. Make a checklist for the things that he needs in his back pack and doesn't--this isn't rocket science, this is you and mom being lazy and irresponsible. Honestly, are there two 8 year olds of 4 living in that house.

Make a detailed chart of chores that need to be done and enforce rewards and punishments on BOTH boys that means the very charming princeling and the very lovable oogle-duckling.

As for his eczema get him some creams and try switching laundry and bath soaps for him. Put any bad habits that both boys have in their behaviral charts, and deduct each time you and mom catch them. Add one point for every day that you haven't seen them engaging in this bad behavior.

The rewards can be anything--getting extra gaming time, an extra scoop of icecream, being allowed to pick the movie that the family goes out to...

Punishments need to be things like having privileges revoked, if step son is losing his homework, revoke play time and have him clean up until he finds it. Or write an apology to his teacher and YOU go with him to deliver it.

Work out some activities that the two boys can do together that they will BOTH enjoy. Get stepson an inhaler, and keep his check ups regularly. Teach the "Good son"--since you seem to feel that way--the importance of compassion and looking out for his brother. In a few years you will probably have to shell out the cash for braces x2.

For the record, I sucked my thumb til I was 5--my parents fought me for a year about that habit, but I'm still biting my nails. I have attopic dermatitis--a form of eczema. I have extremely sensitive skin. Large slightly crooked front teeth and an over bite. Plus, I developed chronic allergies after having lived my whole life in the florida country side, at the age of 11. I spend about five months a year wheezing and taking benadryll. I also had a thick lisp that made most of my speech incomprehensible to all but my closest family until I was 61/2.

The lisp is something that will change with time and about twenty minutes of practice a day. Have him read aloud and tackle specific sylables in three day shifts--I had a severe lisp when I was young. My dad worked with me. The sessions were frustrating and often times I got upset and wanted to quit. But even my siblings and friends helped me during playtime, by just correcting my "T" and "sh" sounds. It took about three months, but now at 17 my lisp is very slight and few people can detect it.

It'll probably decrease over the years as the form of his jaw, size of his toungue and framing of his teeth change, but he still needs someone to coach him on exercising the throat muscles needed to make all 44 base sounds in the english language.

Also it would be good to do some research on all your stepson ailments and make a travel kit to aid any inflation of said ailments to keep in the car. Teach both boys how to use the kits and make sure that everyone understande that they aren't toys.

Also, make a family experiment out of seeing what foods can be added or subtracted from the households diet for a week and the effect that the altered meals has on everyone.

Spend a day alone with each boy. Do what ever it is that they want to do. If stepson wants to go; golf, fish, view an exhibit or play at an arcade or playground. Then do it, no complaints or negative things to say.

Then do the same with your son, dont discuss the previous days events but do what ever it is that the child wants.

Have each boy right a summary of their day.

Get together once a month with both boys to do something nice for someone else. Go volunteer at the hospitals, local shelters, clean up the house for mom. Make dinner or clean the bathroom.

Teach them both compassion for others and that they should be grateful.
Reply:it sucks that he has asthma, cause you could train him to be better at sports, it would probably be hard on his self esteem if his brother is better at him in everyway, which is how you described it, i would suggest getting your stepson very into school, that way he will atleast have something useful, so be very strict with his school work so he can go to a good college and get rich, im serious, also have him do recycling or something durring high school so he can get something good on his college resume, once he is 18 he isnt under your control, unfortunately he wont be good at sports with his medical conditions, otherwisei would say help him in that area, you want him to have confidence
Reply:I hope I am sensing your condition correctly. I hope you are more out going with your stepson than your son. If this is the case, GOOD: From what you say, your stepson needs to know that someone (close at hand) is pulling for his success. The various conditions that your stepson have, can be over come with time. The big fear is poor mental outlook, lack of self- esteem.

Although, your actions will cause stress with your son, the growing of the family as a whole is the most important thing that you will have to do. Your stepsons way-ward actions need to be put in check. Misbehaving in school, eating that is not advised, and failure to attend to homework or personally owned equipment is all signs of someone who is acting out. DON'T BE A PATSY - Your stepson needs you to say (NO - ENOUGH - THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE).

He may want to please you and his mother, but he needs to know when he goes out of bounds.

Can i be anymore excited? (see below)?

ok this is more brag than needing answers. I am going to be an Aunty a real one not to just my friends' kids. the blessed event is August 2007 and i just got the ultrasound sent to me!!! (the realization has finally kicked in!)Since i have to pick someone to get 10 points: any ideas what to get the new baby? My sis is sooo organised already...creativity needed. i have already bought her a billy bob buck teeth baby pacifier as a joke at her hubbys suggestion..but need something really sweet and sentimental.

Can i be anymore excited? (see below)?
The best gift I received when I was pregnant was a beautiful keepsake box to hold all the little treasures from my baby - - first haircut, first band aid from her shots, and now I am putting in little notes she writes me. The box is beautiful and I am sure that you can find something on line. Very sentimental
Reply:Congrats!
Reply:Anything from Baby Einstein is a good choice. Noting like getting the baby's brain going and it's unisex!
Reply:Congrats aunty!!
Reply:for your sister....get her a nice gift certificate for a massage and spa place..she will need it, specially in the summer time.
Reply:Buy a toy for it's bed to keep the baby quiet...;)
Reply:hmm all babies need clothes and the new mommy will definately appreciate diapers, wipes baby soap things like that...mabee the new mommy will just need a break once in awhile...be the sitter too..just help out she will love it all...
Reply:Get the baby an I love my Aunt bib, and a onesey.
Reply:Diapers and baby wipes , I just had my 1st grandchild on the 5th, Cute little girl. whoever thought I would be a papaw.....But she had everything but enough diapers....Hope it helps and Congrats.....:)
Reply:I am going to be a real aunt in September 2007!!!! Isn't it the most exciting thing?

I am thinking of choosing something to buy for the baby that my brother and sister-in-law really need, like a car seat, high chair, swing...something that is a necessity and it would help them tremendously if they didn't have to pay for. I am praying for a niece...I think it would be so great for my little brother to have a daughter! Plus, my little girl is the only grand-daughter, so it would be nice for another girl to even out the scales! Oh, and if it is a girl I will probably buy her some sort of jewelry, like a bracelet.

Congratulations!
Reply:Firstly Congratulations and if your sister is that organised have you thought about getting something for mummy as well as baby.

Maybe a pampering kit, a pregnancy massage or a keepsake such as a Pregnancy journal, Belly cast kit or a photo session for the family before or after baby is born. Just a few things I could think of, anything you do I am sure your sister will appreciate it.
Reply:It is really exciting I know. I would start out by buying little things since she'll probably have a baby shower right?? So I would mainly wait and see what she doesn't get and then you can help her buy whatever else she needs. For now you could start out with the nursery set (most people don't spend that much money at showers buying that stuff). If she already has that, then maybe start out with a little outfit (unisex) or blankets (receiving, she'll need lots of those), bottles with the nipple like the breast, or maybe a baby memory book (those are pretty special). Good luck and have fun...Just remember not to get toooo carried away aunty!!! Hahaha Congrats!
Reply:Congratulations! This is one blessed baby to have an Auntie so excited about his/her birth. I'd suggest one of the kits available to cast his/her precious little footprints in sand or something for posterity. They come with a frame, etc. and make a great little piece of artwork and a wonderful keepsake. You could spurge on a beautiful silver cup or spoon with a monogram. One inexpensive gift I love is called a boo boo bunny. It's only a washcloth tied to look like a bunny, but you can put an ice cube inside, and with only a kiss from mommy ,the boo boo bunny can make it all better.
Reply:CONGRATULATIONS! I think the perfect gift.. would be more to the parents, but it can be put up in the baby's nursery! Write a poem, and put a pic of the ultra sound and the parents on either side... Make it a sentimental poem (or if you are not a poet, find one online!!), Good lucky hon!!!
Reply:Get a scrapbook started for the new baby and add a few pics of your own in the front of family members when they were baby's and then now. Scrapbooking is not only alot of fun, but you can personalize them so much!
Reply:if you know how to knit, knit her/him something. Handmade things will probabaly be very mell apreisiated!! Or you could get her/him a blanket.
Reply:Baby's nails grow fast and they scratch themselves. They sell little light weight mittens to cover their hands while they are infants and they are really cute, plus they keep them from scratching their faces. You could make up a little goodie bag with child protective things like electric plug blocks, child-proof cabinet door locks. And maybe a good first baby Dr. Spock book. Congratulations Auntie! Maybe even get a cute picture frame and make a copy of the ultrasound picture and give to her as a "babys 1st picture"
Reply:congrats. Auntie... if you want to get her something she will use, the I suggest a pack-n-play (cage for them Lol!) or a swing. these are 2 of the things that a mother can actually put the baby in while they do other things, and believe me she will cry the day they out grow them.
Reply:if you have stores like JcPenny , Kohls , and other stores u can get onesy's, bibs, soft stuffed animals, books, etc.......

for your sister- Dipers, baby bath stuff.
Reply:Congratulations. Most of the time, the mom2be always gets overlooked. Remember that the mom2be needs some love and attention too. I would buy the mom a charm bracelet, and start it off with a rattle charm. When the baby is born, I would get a charm with the baby's name engraved and the d.o.b. Then, for every new occasion, I would add a charm. For example, for the first step I would get the mom a booties charm. For the first word, I would get her a "abc" charm. It's something that would last a lifetime and tells it's own story.
Reply:You should make her a family album with pictures of the two of you growing up and then with her having a baby..Leave room for her to put on the baby's firsts in it as well. Just a thought. Congrats
Reply:For baby:

You could go 'heirloom' and get a nice silver cup, or baby brush, or one of those first curl/first tooth sets. If you're more interested in toy, then I found baby einstein videos were enthralling for my newborn. Or you could go cutesy and get a personalized onesie, like "My aunt LOVES me" or "My aunt thinks I'm awesome!". You can get these at baby stores or get them personalized on ebay.

For Mom/your sister:

Being a mom for the first time is SOOO exciting--and so overwhelming! Thoughtful gifts would include a pamper basket for mom, or a 'pregnancy' photo session (she would get it done around eight months or so), or something sweet thanking her for making you an aunt. Also, a homemade coupon book with offers of free babysitting, dish washing, or meal preparation would be nice, or even ten or twelve home made meals that you can put in her freezer for easy dinner prep--those first few months are insane!! Mostly, though, I would suggest just offering her as much support as you can over the next few months--drop by and wash the dishes and do some laundry, because she won't be feeling like it, take her shopping, take her out to lunch or dinner (to remind her that she's not completely isolated). And be sure to share her excitement--there's a LIFE inside her!!

Good luck!
Reply:I would really wait. You have 6 months. Just my opinion but I just think it's too soon to start buying things.
Reply:have her a clock made with the babys ultra sound pic.It will run you around 15-20 bucks at the most.Wal mart, cvs pharmacy, even yahoo photos do it! congrats and best wishes
Reply:congratulations! just buy a variety of things like bottles, wipes, diapers, blankets, t-shirts, onsies, outfits, socks, no small toys, and whatever else you may see thats cute. stuff it all in a big cartoon character gift bag filled with decorative tissues.
Reply:Well, now that you've gotten her the BillyBob pacifier, don't think she'll really need anything else.....hahaha....very cute.

Make her a little "checkbook" full of certificates, like:

"Babysitting for Date Night"

"Babysitting for Hair Appointment"

"Free Trip to Grocery Store"

"4 loads of Laundry"

"Free Garden Work"

etc.

Just think of all the things she will not have time for, and offer to do them for her. Included several "Babysit Anytime" Coupons
Reply:I just saw a canister set on a tv show. It has 5 tin circles (different colors) and the tops have a space to pour plaster and make a hand print for the first 5 years. I absolutely love it, and wish I had it! It is usefull and sentimental. I have no idea where to get it though!
Reply:When I had my daughter my friend bought me a book/photo album to document her first year.

A sweet book would also be nice. I recommend "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch

My son is 24 months old and desperately attached to his pacifier. What can I do to help him give it up?

I really want to get it away from him before he starts developing buck teeth or something like that. He's fine during the day without it, but when bedtime rolls around, he screams until I give it to him. Any advice?

My son is 24 months old and desperately attached to his pacifier. What can I do to help him give it up?
Most pacifiers are made orthodontic pacifiers, which are best for children that are cutting teeth. Once the teeth are in his teeth aren't going to be buck teeth. He is still young and if that is the only time of day that he wants it, its okay!! He wants his pacifier because he feels comforted by it. It helps him relax which helps him go to sleep. You aren't the only parent that has problems with this. Don't worry one day, maybe soon he will break of this habit.
Reply:Take it away after he falls asleep? Unless he is a light sleeper...that may not work well.
Reply:Oh man. It took a week for my 21 Mth old girl to forget about it. It takes time, but stick to your guns and throw that binky away. So he cry's a little bit, he will get over it...Better then buck teeth.
Reply:I know this sounds impossible, but the best way is for him to quit cold turkey. He will cry and it will be very difficult. He might keep you up at night. But there really is no way to wean him off of the pacifier at night.
Reply:I know it sounds mean but just stop giving it to him. Yes he will scream but you can't give in.
Reply:My daughter was two and a half and her teeth started to move out a little before I finally took her"sassy" away. I just her to take them all to the trash and I had to listen to her scream. She only fussed for about three days at nap and bedtime. Then she realized sassy was gone for good. Some kids deal better than others so good luck to you!!
Reply:During the day when he wakes up. Throw it away in front of him and remind him all day long that he is a big boy and does not need it anymore keep reminding him its gone bye bye and by night he should remember and it should be fine . Thats how i did my son and he never asked again same with his bottles.
Reply:here's what we did

tell your son you know that he likes his binky. Ask him if he knows what happens when something breaks. He should tell you that if something breaks (like one of his toys) it goes in the garbage because it's not good anymore. Once he grasps this, you can tell him that his binky will eventually break, and it will have to be thrown in the garbage too - and that he can be the one to throw it in the garbage. And then you can tell him that when that happens, you and he can go to the store and buy a nice toy that he will like, like a car, or dinosaur, or whatever he is interested in right now.

All 3 of my children went through this, and it worked. All of them brought me their binky's when they broke, and all 3 of them tossed them in the garbage when they did. Only my middle daughter was sad for a bit, but she got over it fairly quickly.

I think the trick is to be as non chalant about it as you can. Don't make a big deal over it. Once I told my children that when it breaks, they can throw it out - I just left it at that. Nothing else. A few days later, it broke, and I made good and took them out for their toy. They picked them out themselves, and they weren't expensive either - just toys.
Reply:uhhhh, this is so simple DON'T GIVE IT TO HIM!!!!! 1 or 2 nights of screaming he will realize its gone. Some parents don't want listen to their kids cry but sometimes you have to be harsh to be a good parent. I took my son's away at 6 months becasue I nkew it gets harder as they get older. Best of luck!!!
Reply:There are lots of good ways.

*Poke a hole in it. It will lose suction and not be any fun.

*Tell him about the "binky fairy" who takes binkies to all the new babies being born. Every night, take one and hide it and the fairy can replace it with a book or toy.

*You can let him scream. He'll get over it in a few days.

*Take the paci to the Build a Bear workshop and put the paci inside.

*Tell him he'll be a big boy when he gives up the paci.

Good luck!

*
Reply:I wouldn't worry about it. My son is 26 months and is still sucking away. If he doesn't use it alot during the day, that's a good sign. DON'T make a big deal about it or he will too. Just give it to him before bedtime. Make it seem like it doesn't mean a thing and then try to take it away while he sleeps. If he doesn't go for that, just give it a little more time, he'll eventually give it up. Oh, and it won't give him buck teeth.
Reply:Who's up tight about it you or him? He'll give it up in his own time. The more YOU make it an issue the more he'll retreat to it. As soon as he's around other kids that don't use one he'll also stop. What's the big deal? It won't give him buck teeth. If anything it'll give you a nervous breakdown. Leave the kid alone. Put one in your mouth and show him how funny you BOTH look.
Reply:Cut the top of the pacifier, it will feel different to him, and if he crys for it, just keep giving him the cut one, eventually he will hate it,.. I tried it on my baby, and she just threw in my face and started crying, and she hated it.
Reply:* You can pack them all up, take them to the post office together and give the clerk a note saying "please throw away" and let him know that you are sending to the younger kids around the world that aren't as fortunate.

* You can cut a little bit of the actual nipple off every day, eventually, there will not be any more to suck and he will slowly get the picture and likely be ok with it because it is gradual.

Good luck!
Reply:First thing tomorrow morning - tell him he is a big boy now and tell him to throw his pacifier (Dummy) in the trash.

Then take him out for a fun day and make sure he is good and worn out - feed him supper - bathe him and put him to bed.

When he asks for his Dummy remind him that he threw it away that morning because he agreed that he is a big boy now - and remind him how proud you are of him.

Then kiss him goodnight and leave the room - no further discussions other than it's time for bed is necessary.
Reply:Cut the tip off of it. He won't get the suction that he's looking for. You could also purposely leave it on top of your car one day (have a neighbor or someone help you with this) and tell him that a Mama bird had some babies and she needs his pacifier to quiet her babies and that you will be giving all of his pacifiers to the birds.
Reply:My daughter was so attached to her paci and we tried everything. I had her help me make rice krispie treats which we dyed pink, covered the pan with sprinkles and every single one of her "paci's". We sang bye bye paci, bye bye(repeat 4 or 5 times), we don't need you anymore (to the tune of happy birthday) and when we had sung that song several times, she proudly took all of her paci's off the "cake" and threw them in the trash and we cheered that she was a big girl now. When she asked for a paci after our bye bye paci party, I reminded her she was a big girl now. If she started to cry, which she did a few times, we sung our special song again....and again celebrated the fact she was a big girl. It worked wonders and after about a week, she quit asking for it. She still remembers it and she felt in control of throwing her paci's away....

I hope this helps you, it is a hard habit to break!
Reply:I did well disappearing it at all opportunities until mine wasn't dependent on it. Pull it out after he's asleep, so he's not continually used to it. It also wont be in his mouth very long as to reshape his teeth.

Another method: Had a friend who snipped a bit of the end of the binky off each week till it was not much more than a nub and the babe gave it up since it didn't do much for him anymore.
Reply:If they don't exist then they can't use it. I tried the cutting the tip off thing and in my experience that just makes them really mad. Better just to have them disappeer. Since he is almost 2 you could have him be a part of the disposal or they could all just come up missing. It is best to get rid of all of them that way during frustration no one can pull one out.
Reply:make it fun kinda like the tooth fairy, tell him that the pacifier fairy is going to come and take the Pacifier as their are other little boys out their that need it now but she will leave him a present, buy him a present maybe a teddy bear or some other comfort item and leave it near his bed/cot so when he wakes in the morning his pacifier is gone but something else is in its place

he might ask for it at night still but just gently remind him that the fairy has taken it
Reply:Isn't 24 months really 2 years? Yes, he does need to get away from the pacifier. But if you continue to say a two year old is 24 months, you'll never let him break away from being a baby. He's probably a toddler and he can learn that no is no. Take away the pacifier, let him scream and tell him he is too old for it. Sorry to be harsh here but who is the parent?
Reply:My advice would be to wait. My nephew had his until 4 (and I wouldn't advise this) but his teeth are perfect and he is 17 now and didn't need braces. I took mine away from my kids at 3. I took them to the dentist and he told them that they needed to get rid of them and we came home and they threw them away and they never asked for them again. No tears or anything. They are 10 and need braces and most kids do. Very few kids have perfect teeth so if it comforts him let him have it until he is ready to give it up.
Reply:It's your fault for letting him have it so long in the first place. Those things are for infants. Much beyond 3 or 4 months shows that the parent is at fault. Just take it away. So he screams. He'll fall asleep. Shut the lights off and go to bed. He'll cry himself to sleep. That's what you get for letting him have it so long. Give him a sippy cup or something full of water instead. Give him toys and blankets. You are the one that has made it hard on him. Children are not supposed to be pacified. If you didn't want to listen to them cry or whine then why did you have them. Children that have those things and have teeth can actually cut thru the nipple and choke to death. Just take it away. Suffer for a night or 2. It's a shame he has to go thru this just cause you didn't want to do it sooner.

If Antonella is safe tonight on American Idol - will you continue to watch the show?

I don't think I will be able to continue to watch the show - because I think it's B.S. that people keep putting her through. She sucks. She looks like a horse with buck teeth and big gums. Why is America voting for her?

If Antonella is safe tonight on American Idol - will you continue to watch the show?
people like the idea that if she wins she will give everybody free B.J's and flash her fake titis and smother Simon Cowell with her plastic tatas, and then bite his head off with her big ol' teeth and gummy horse mouth.
Reply:i reali dun care...shes super hot tats y...
Reply:yeah her mouth does look like a horse with buck teeth and big gums.. i don't know why there are voting for her. I agree with you about her singing, she's not very good.
Reply:i agree with you 100% she is not hot....the judges have to tell her that because she sucks sooooooooooooo bad. she was definelty the worst of the girls and guys. SHe must have a large family that keeps voting for her.
Reply:I agree. She can't sing and it doesn't make sense. I believe that American idol is just a big popularity contest. I mean if you look at the seasons before, the same pattern occurs. But in the end America will vote for the most talented.
Reply:I think that she is a very pretty girl (albeit with buck teeth) but she doesn't have nearly as much talent as some of the people who have been voted off. Right now it seems to be a popularity contest but I hope people will actually realize that it's about talent, not looks.
Reply:Hopefully she will be gone. If NOT this week next week for sure. I sure hope she doesn't make it to the final 12. She is definitely one of the three I picked that might go! Unfortunately, she may get the sympathy vote.
Reply:i think I will continue to watch it just to see the guys but it would be unfair if someone who was 10x better than her which everyone on that show is got voted off and she still there .
Reply:she stinks!
Reply:yeah i will continue to watch it, but not really because of her. she doesnt deserve to make it after all of those gross pictures of her on the internet posing and stuff. i dont really know if they are her or not, but she still cant sing so yeah she needs to go tonight. americas probably voting for her because right now its a popularity thing but like other people said that will only last for so long. she apparantly has some support group called the "fantonellas" or something like that. i think she will go tonight though and if she doesnt i will be very surprised!
Reply:Finally... a unique question about Idol...!!

I say that if she's safe she should save her dignity and bow out of the competition. She thinks she's all that but she can't sing. She's only getting through because all the guys are voting for her because of her scandalis pics.

I will be EXTREMELY angry if she does make it though. I'm a relatively new Idol fan and was starting to enjoy it (mainly because of last season). But this season has been pretty awful.

I was shocked last week when she got through!

Sleep Drama with my wife...please help with suggestions?

Here are the basics, I get up to get my kids on bus 6:46am wife is still sleeping. After that because I don't work right now, I wash the dishes, then load the dishwasher, scrub the stove from last nights dinner, wipe off the kitchen table %26amp; counter. By then it's about 9:30am. I pace the floor, thinking why the hell am I doing all this myself, I must be crazy, no other guy would do the house wives work for her. I have depression, and add/adhd. I have hard times dealing with my emotions, and logical thinking and feeling. Anyways, she's still sleeping by 10am. I try to wake her, and she just rolls to one side and moans. I've been married for 10 years now, to this highschool sweetheart, everybody else made fun of, picked on, and called names from sesame street cartoon, because she has buck teeth, red snarly hair, 6'2" tall, and has freckles. So everyone in school disliked her, as me everyone hated me, I had the problem of letting everybody walk all over me, I was terrified with fright?

Sleep Drama with my wife...please help with suggestions?
Each of you have a responsibility to keep your family going. So, what is she doing? Why is housekeeping only a woman's job? I see two issues here.
Reply:what a lazy bum wife! she's lucky to have you! take a break. go on a vacation and let ur wife do the chores for a while!
Reply:Wow. You need to grow up a little bit.

I'll bet that your wife does way more than her share when she's awake. If your attitude is what she has to put up with, I'm not surprised that she wants to stay in bed!

Not everyone has the same sleep patterns. She could be a "night owl" like me.

I've been happily married to a Morning Lark for over 30 years. I'm a night owl. With a loving, respectful relationship, there is no problem.
Reply:Woe is you my friend. Woe is YOU
Reply:well i think that it is nice that a man can do house work and help out , how ever if this is an ongoing thing maybe you should try to get her to a dr she may be depressed as weel as you. good luck
Reply:did she make those children all by herself ? I think not. They are your responsibility too. If you don't work right now what's the big deal. And since when is it "housewives work", it is just chores that need to be done with no specific sex attached to them. Do you want a clean house for your kids and yourself to live in or do you want to live in a pigsty?? have you ever considered that your wife sleeps a lot because she may be depressed - due to the fact that you aren't working, she's got kids to take care of, and oh yeah you didn't mention her job or jobs..... my guess is that she works rings around you. take your meds if you have them and grow up. that is the mother of your children you are dissing on here, you should be ashamed. do something nice for both of you, get a babysitter, and go out on a date once a week. you might find out how much she means to you and you can talk about being partners in this life instead of whatever it is you think you have now.
Reply:I think you are both being a little selfish. First of all if she is not working she should be sharing the household chores with you. I don't think either one of you is more at fault than the other. When you were working did she get up and get the kids ready and do all the housework? Maybe she feels she deserves a break too. The way you describe her sounds terrible though, what does the way she look have to do with the story. It doesn't sound like you actually like her very much
Reply:It's time you both have a talk and put your cards on the table and try to work this problem out because things are'nt going to get better by theirselfs!
Reply:No offense but if you truly love her, you would not have just made your marriage sound like a mercy committment. You don't marry someone b/c you feel sorry for them. You need to grow up in that area. Secondly, my husband is a morning person %26amp; I am an evening person. I sleep late (although we only have a 2 y/o who sleeps in with me) but I pull my weight as far as house work %26amp; I even work part-time as well as handling any errnads etc. You need to speak to her about this %26amp; if she can do her part %26amp; still sleep late then maybe you guys can make it work. Otherwise you'll have to make a decision.

RN
Reply:u need 2 sit down n communicate n tell her how u feel...does she work or look afta the kids???
Reply:I hope it all works out. Talk to her well everyone might have disliked you in school but I think you sound like a fantastic father and husband.
Reply:If your wife has been sleeping this long for over 2 weeks, she might have acute depression. Don't give up on her. Maybe she needs to go to a medical doctor and have some blood drawn to see if it's hormonal, etc...Than maybe you should see if your physician can give you a referral for a good clinical psychologist to give he an assessment for depression. This is not normal. You don't have to be a beauty queen to be a happy person.

Im 14 and Im bullied?

Im a boy and I go to school everyday and i get bullied constantly.Im in top set for every subject. I have many features wrong me such as im short, i have buck teeth, high voice and Im ugly. My self confidence has reached rock bottom. Im just an easy target and most people take the opportunity to make my life hell. Even my best mate makes fun of me sometimes. Everyday I feel like breaking down, i dont know what to do.

Im 14 and Im bullied?
Number one, stop viewing yourself as ugly. People see you as you project yourself to them. Don't be the target, anymore. Everyone is flawed and that's just the way it is. More often than not, those that wish to put you down are trying to detract from their own flaws. You're obviously intelligent, based on your scores at school, focus on that and the rest will come around. Be strong and be the best that you can be for YOU. As far as your best mate, get a new one. Friends don't put you down, they are supposed to lift you up.

Being 14 is a tough age, physically and emotionally, give things time and just be strong. Find someone that you can talk to you, a parent, perhaps, that can help you through this time in your life.
Reply:beat those guys up...hitt them with a book or throw a chair at them
Reply:Home School. Tell a teacher/Parent. Punch them in the FACE!!
Reply:tell a teacher, if you think they will tell the student something to get him mad u should do this instead . . GO UP TO THE PUNY TWERP AND PUNCH HIM RIGHT IN THE FACE. . . OH THATS KINDA SEVERE . . MAYBE YOU SHOULD TELL THEM " i take that as a compliment " if there hurting you physically tell the police . . they will definately handle it!
Reply:just remember, guys like you end up being those bullies boss, just keep that in mind
Reply:Hang in there, kiddo!

Study martial arts and keep those grades up!

You'll probably be the next Bill Gates! :)
Reply:Sounds like you are.
Reply:tell them if they don't leave you alone you are gonna go columbine...thing is this, people mess with you because they think it's free, and maybe up to now it has been, once they get it in their heads that they are gonna have to pay for it in some way or another, they will stop. Women and some adult men will tell you that this is wrong, but the fact is school is war in a lot of ways. Make them understand that disrespecting you is not free. You may not be able to fight them and win, but there is always SOMETHING you can do to make things bad for them, and in war there is no such thing as a cheap shot.
Reply:Fight back.

1) Have more confidence in yourself...you can't change yourself so learn to like yourself.

2) Don't back down..you need to fight back to these people if you just hide and accept it all your life your bound to feel awful.

3) Bullys are cowards treat them that way.

You just need to stand your ground, hope this helps.
Reply:1st of all dont go sucicidle but u got to rember your going in 9th next year cause i'm a 14 year old girl and i'm in 8th so that means i'm going to 9th but w/e umm u really should tell somebody rather it's teacher grandma ma or pa you really should and if that doesnt help then move move with a family member that is not in your school district rember it's not you they have a problm wit it's there self they think they can take there troubles out on you they have low confidence so they think if they bully someone that means they thank that makes them feel better but just try wat i said i hope i helped and it's afwul to here wat ur going through
Reply:The schools where I live have a no-tolerance policy for bullying. Talk to the school counselor about what to do at school. Your parents may have to get involved here.

Then talk to your parents about your feelings of low self-esteem. There are things you can do to feel better about yourself, regardless of your looks.

Looking back on my high school days, I remember the president of the student council. He wasn't good-looking; he had the worst case of acne I've ever seen on anyone in my life. He fell asleep under the sun lamp once, and his face looked like raw meat. He came to school laughing about it.

He was also one of the friendliest, outgoing, well-liked people I've ever met. I never understood how he could be so upbeat and outgoing with a face like that, but it was all in his positive attitude toward life. I have complete confidence that you can develop a positive attitude, too, despite what you're going through now. Make it your goal, and maybe get some counseling to get started. If my friend could do it, so can you.
Reply:Well go to your principal or talk to a teacher. DO NOT think of hurting yourself. You cannot help the way you look and you should always accept who you are. You are unique. Talk to one of your favorite teachers. There are many laws prohibiting being bullied...and these laws are in act because kids might do wrongful things to themselves and it should be prevented. Trust me i was there once, and all u gotta do is stay strong and talk to someone to make it stop.
Reply:You are correct, you have low self esteem. I would first talk to my parents. They might want to send you to a psychiatrist. There is some good news..your voice should change soon. But keep something in mind....you are having a hard time now, but this is high school.....kids are mean an Love to bully, insult other kids. High school lasts for only 4 years. Life Will get better. Kids pick on other kids for the feeling of power. This goes on throughout life...learn to ignore them
Reply:Some things to remember:

-It will end eventually

-They will remember how stupid they were

-focus on ure education and let ure excellence be ure driving force

-remember that when we get old our bodies degenerate fast - but our minds dont

-When we die we dont take our bodies with us

-when waling through a crowded hall - imagine as if people were walking around and only their personality or their soul was on show - go through each person - whose ugly now?!

-Stay calm when they say those things - getting angry makes them do it more to see how far they can push u.

-Use ure intelligence as a weapon. If its a pretty cheerleader type then be sharp with ure tongue. "If putting me down is the only way u can cope with the way you look honey then by all means be my guest."

- If it's a boy and he gets violent - tell someone

- If you get called gay all the time, then it is more them reassuring themselves of their sexuality than trying to put u down. Tell them this.

Hang in there boy! I got ya back! =D
Reply:You are being bullied because you have something everyone else wish they had.....a brain! I was in college bound classes and did well in school. The boys that were picked on in high school ended up becoming the handsome successful men later on. So, you're short. There are many short girls. Buck teeth......there are dentists/orthodontists that fix that. Ugly. I think you should reconsider that thought. You're only feeling that way because you've been beaten down. Society focuses too much on the 2% of beautiful people.Everyone's taste is different. Some girls find brainy boys sexy. Just wait till college! High voice....it'll change. Puberty my friend. Talking to your parents about how you feel woul help if they are supportive. There are counselors that could help you through this akward stage. Many kids have tough times at this age. Exercise and eating right may help your self-esteem.

One thing I think most kids regret from high school is not being kind to everyone. They realize later how much pain they may have caused. I'm sorry you're feeling as bad as you are.

Good luck!

Women!!! Have you ever pretended your friend was either your boyfriend or girlfriend to get rid of a guy?

you know that guy in the club with the buck teeth or the really skinny one who is trying to talk to you but your really not feeling him and your in a club with your guy or girl friend and you want to get the bug away from you so you grab your friend and be like, " this is my boyfriend"

Women!!! Have you ever pretended your friend was either your boyfriend or girlfriend to get rid of a guy?
hecK yea.. and im not ashamed either! honestly, tho .. its better than telling someone to buzz off....thats kinda mean.. so now u hav a legit excuse not to talk to a guy [or girl]

Do it matter if your Boy friend is not attractive on the out side?

I mean if he treated you like you wanted to be treated. Knew that he was not fine but also knows that he can handle being the man in your life if you could over look that he is Fat or, ugly, or to skinny, nerdy looking, buck teeth, I dont know just think of the most ugliest male you have seen and give him the greatest insides that your heart disires. Would you date him or marry him even if people looked in questioned to your decision?

Do it matter if your Boy friend is not attractive on the out side?
To be honest with you..Think about this..what if that person was in an accident and their face was completly ruined..If you only liked them for just their looks..then what else would you have..Nothing..You would have nothing else to go on..

I love an intelligent man, personality, sense of humor, a God fearing man, a man that I can talk to anything about man...etc etc etc..and that is the man I have..

I rather have a smart man than a stupid man...How far in life can you get with a stupid person..most overly gorgeous guys are egotistical anyways
Reply:you have to be attracted to the person you are seeing. if you aren't, it's a waste of time.
Reply:Ya ive been there with a girl, I liked her personality but wasnt sexually attracted, the relationship lasted 2 months. And it only went on that long because I didnt know how I could dump her because she liked me so much.
Reply:I think i'd give him a chance. i'm kind of dating this guy nowwho's hot but he's not really treating me right. i'm thining of dumping his *** and find someone worth my time, looks shoudn't matter.
Reply:I do what I want to do and like who I want to like not what someone else thinks as I dont give a ****. If he was everything I wanted inside and had nice, eyes and a smile (including teeth) and didnt smell, then yes i would. As long as he knew how to make me happy,
Reply:I think you have to be attracted to someone to make it work. But, it is very possible to develop an attraction to someone you were previously not attracted to. It did happen to me once. And, once it happened, hmmm how can I say this? I was turned out!!!!
Reply:looks arnt everything...it is wut is in the heart that counts
Reply:Not sure to be honest. My husband is not the most attractive person on the outside, but he is wonderful on the inside. However, he's not "the most ugliest" thing I can think of either.

Being human, I might accidentally overlook a Prince Charming if he looked like Jaba the Hut.
Reply:it would not be fair not to date someone based on their looks however if you can not see yourself in bed with him then I would not go there, it is not fair to build his hopes up if you know you there was no possibility that it could not develop because of his looks.

that said if you both just want your needs forfilled with no strings then go for it!!
Reply:yea of corse i would still date him its whats on the inside that counts and who cares what other people would or will say if u love him or her y whould it matter what other people say

Do you think Freddie Mercury looks like John Stassel? Oh God no. Who looks most like him? Not Adam Sander?

Maybe Johnny Deep with fake buck teeth! It would have to be the best looking guy with dark eyes and beautiful skin.

Who are the ugliest actresses/celebrities in Hollywood?

I think it would be:

Anne Heche---her features are not defined at all, small eyes, no lips, nothing attractive, and something about her resembles PeeWee Herman

Ellen De Generes---do I have to explain why?

Hillary Swank--hideous, huge buck teeth and mule face, although she is a great actress

Rosie O-Donnell

Julia Stiles---she's just so incredibly plain and that could be construed as ugly

and who else? I know some people will probably say Sarah Jessica Parker, but I never thought of her as ugly

Who are the ugliest actresses/celebrities in Hollywood?
Whoopi Goldberg---takes the cake
Reply:Beycone - i can't stand her!!
Reply:ive never thought drew barrymore was that nice looking
Reply:I know no one else will probably agree with me...but Scarlett Johannsen (or however you spell her name). She may have big boobs, but I don't think her face is pretty. She has fish lips and talks like a man. She's so arrogant which also contributes to her ugliness (in my humble opinion).
Reply:What about big bird, I mean Paris Hilton, Look at that nose need I say more?
Reply:Sandra Bernhard...Uggg!
Reply:Julia Stiles. I agree.
Reply:there's not enough room for who i all think is ugly... lets see: Linday Lohan- doesnt give a sh!t if she flashes the world

Nicole Richie- how aneroxic she is ( literally just skin and bones)

Ellen De Generes- many reasons

Julia Stiles

there's a ton more but i cant think of their names
Reply:Joan and Melissa Rivers, Gary Busey

Reply:Ugly...wow, that is not very nice. I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion though.

I'd have to give my vote to Brittney Spears. Not because of the physical, just by how she carries herself. Very unattractive.

Im 14 and I get bullied?

Im a boy and I go to school everyday and i get bullied constantly.Im in top set for every subject. I have many features wrong me such as im short, i have buck teeth, high voice and Im ugly. My self confidence has reached rock bottom. Im just an easy target and most people take the opportunity to make my life hell. Even my best mate makes fun of me sometimes. Everyday I feel like breaking down, i dont know what to do.

Im 14 and I get bullied?
people feel like they can pick on people who seem less confident. you need to feel more confident about yourself. you still have such a long road to go. school is about education. surely there are some good features about you too. your smart and thats something i wish i was! you can always talk to family about it as well.
Reply:Is there an adult you can talk to about this? Maybe a favorite teacher or school counselor? You need to reach out to someone you can trust to make the bullying stop. Nobody should have to live that way.

And just remember, than kids are cruel, but karma gets them in the end. One day you will be successful, and the "cool" kids will be picking up your trash!

What is the name of the song? i thought it was 'i'll see you at the lights'?

ok, theres this song that i can't find on the internet anywhere, lyrics, youtube, ive found nothing, i think i've got the wrong title.

It's main line is 'i'll see you at the lights'

but other lines i can remember are something along the lines of:

'oh no, did i make you laugh (pause)

do you want an autograph'

its a rock song and in between lyrics is got a good really solid riff. the video clip is a cartoon with 3 band members, weirdly the lead singer has buck teeth. They sit on a roof singing and also just play in a black room.

any help appreciated

What is the name of the song? i thought it was 'i'll see you at the lights'?
If I'm right that band would be the Gorillaz. They are an animated band.

58 yr Friend is debating to end relationship?

I have a friend she is 58 yrs who is dating a great guy.He would do anything for helping out another person. When shes sick offers to take her to the hospital. He is always there for her through thick and thin.Would love to have her parents adopt him as their son, because his parents have passed away.( Her parents really like him). He Go's and sees her mother in hospital when she is sick.Helps her out all the time.

But she tells me she can't get pass his buck teeth, and a fungus toe.And there is know physical attraction to him.No chemistry.Should out side appearances be the most important in a relationship? She really focuses on the appearance of a person. She told me she does this with every guy she meets picks him apart in her mind.Do you think she is too young in her thinking?I mean imature?

58 yr Friend is debating to end relationship?
Physical attaction at almost 60?

Money is what really matters on that time!!

Sex? just once a year, for that you do not need physical attraction, I would recommend to look before she leap, the attraction is not need, it is a matter of Be alone or be with somebody that I want to be as it is my friend!!

Be water my friend.
Reply:Ask her how she would feel about him if he didn't have buck teeth %26amp; a fungus toe. Because both of those things can be corrected. Sounds like he is a man with a good heart that really loves her, a man like that is hard to come by. So help that man get his teeth fixed %26amp; get rid of that fungus in his toe, for goodness sake! lol

Should my kids dad chip in for dental work?

In our divorce decree the children are to be covered by fathers insurance. The dental office when I first set up my kids appts. said the bills would have to be sent to him because the insurance is in his name. Well, he is not paying the bills. I pay all the up front fees they ask for because he never takes them to get work done. He says they don't need it because its too expensive but they have severly buck teeth and need braces. He spends lots of money on medical bills etc. for his girlfriend and her kids though. My kids really want the braces but it looks like I will have to find a way to pay up front cost and bills after insurance. The dentist will not continue to see them otherwise. We have a so-called 50-50 arrangement according to the decree but he just isn't doing his part. I don't know if I should just scrape on by or if I should really try to modify custody and residency so I can get help for my kids. Isn't his disregard for their physical well being child neglect and abuse?

Should my kids dad chip in for dental work?
Absolutely! You didn't make your children yourself! He should step up to the plate and stop neglecting his children, especially if he can manage to pay for his girlfriend and her kids. I would definitely take him to court for this. He is not doing what he agreed by law that he would do. Good luck, I'm hoping things will turn out okay for you and your children!
Reply:Hell yeah! Didn't he "chip in" the moment he impregnated you? And Hell, I bet he did it with a big grin on his face! Tell him you want the check while he is wearing that same stupid grin.
Reply:I THINK THAT SINCE THEY ARE HIS KIDS TOO THAT HE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY AT LEAST HALF ID TAKE HIM TO COURT OF CONTACT YOUR ATTORNEY...
Reply:take him to court %26amp; sue him for the money he owes. If he has money for his new wife's kids , he has money for your kids too
Reply:he made the kids, you didn't do it on your own.

You have a Court set agreement for him to pay 50% if he's not holding up his side, take him back to Court. Don't let this jerk get away with his B.S. you didn't bring these kids into the world on your own. Instead of paying for someone else's kids he should be paying for his own.
Reply:Technically it does not fall under abuse/neglect. As their father, he is expected to pay 50% of their uncovered medical expenses, and yes this includes dental. Based on that 50-50 agreement he has to cover it. Unfortunately, sometimes the only way to get it is to pay the money out of your pocket first and sue him for his half after. It can take some time especially now that suing people is so popular. Try contacting human services in your area to see if they have any programs to help. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Reply:Yes he is responsible for helping with the children's dental work. If he isn't willing to help then you need to fight back. It's not fair to the children or you to have to deal with his negligence. If you can't afford a lawyer, try your local Social Services office and see if they can help you out. Don't give up and don't let him walk away from his responsibilities!
Reply:yes he should chip in on dental work you shouldnt be doin that by yourself its his kids too
Reply:EX HUSBAND SHOULD CARE FOR THE NEEDS OF HIS CHILDREN, WHAT IS HIS ISSUES , THEM KIDS ARE STILL SUPPOSED TO BE PART OF HIM AND HIS LIFE .. DOES HE WANT A STEP DADDY TO TAKE OVER AND SHOW HIM , HOW A DADDYS IS SUPPOSE TO ACT!
Reply:Heck yeah, he chipped in on the sperm didn't he?
Reply:take his *** back to court
Reply:YES, you need to tell their father that they are still his children and neglecting their needs is not very fatherly like of him. I would go to the court(you know you can sue for things like that)and get this setteled.
Reply:I used to be a collector. UNLESS this varies from state to state, when I was a collector 8 years ago, in the case of divorced couples, the spouse informs the creditor (in this case, your dentist office) that they are divorced, and you're immediately "forgiven" of 50% of the bill, and the future collection attempts go to the husband.
Reply:I have had the same problem in the past with my ex-husband. Have you tried talking to the friend of the court? Is it court ordered that he pay half of the bills? If so he's violating a court order and I would talk to an attorney to get this taken care of. In some places there are low cost dental clinics that may be able to help you out in this situation. Who has primary physical custody of the kids? If it's him then it could be considered neglect. Once again I would consult a lawyer. If they are living with you I'm not sure. But again I would consult a lawyer. Good Luck!
Reply:Actually you two divorcing was the beginning of the disregard to the physical well being, neglect and abuse. You have no idea where he spends his money, so back off with the girlfriend/kids comment. It seems like his bills are his bills let the bill collector earn their pay. Next, turn in the cell phones and cable TV and any other money sucking luxury you have and teach your children the difference between wants and needs in life. That should loosen up some money to spend on those crooked teeth, Gee they will only be in braces for 2 years.

If you hire a lawyer it will cost you more than the darn braces in the first place.
Reply:I'd report him to the divorce court and wait for the courts to issue an order for him to come up with his side of the deal. They're his kids too and 50-50 is the correct way to go about it. If he doesn't pay for it, have the court demand payment for and in behalf of the kids. Lets see if he gives the court the same cold shoulder treatment.
Reply:HE IS VIOLATING THE ORDER U KNOW WHAT TO DO
Reply:actually if you have a court order for the kids to be on his insurance and he has to pay atleast 50% of the medical bills then you can consult an attorney and get him for contempt of a court order and make him pay any back charges you have had to pay out of pocket on his part. start keeping all reciepts of what you pay for on your children this way if you go to court later on this they can be able to have proof of what they need to divide evenly and assess to him to pay and catch up. by the way it is considered neglect but not abuse. it is another form of neglect but i can't think of the name right now. GET AN ATTORNEY TAKE HIM TO COURT. don't tell him any thing let him find out when he is served papers to appear in court before the judge on such%26amp;such date . then you can sit back and smile . also if he harrasses you after wards about you taking him to court constantly and threatens you , then you can get an order of protection and supervised visitation. then he will really be pissed.

Can't do stuff because of Mom?

My mom is really bad. I have no life at home just coming home and hitting the internet to pass the time. I needed my physical for three sports and she doe it late by three months so I missed basketball and wrestling try-outs.

I need a haircut but my mom won't let me go to the barber. I need to go to the dermatologist because of peeled skin on my scrotum that is itchy and who know's what. I need to go to the dentist for gap and buck teeth that effects my speech and pulls my confidence down. I few clothes that makes me look poor to other students.

Anytime I get mad and tell her all this she says that I am just a failure, she has other things to do, "one more word and I'll beat the sh!T OUT OF YOU", or something to thatt nature.

It's like all they care about is my brother's soccer which he plays at a club that is 1 hour from house. I'm in high school and I have no social life because of my speech

Can't do stuff because of Mom?
What about other relatives? It may be that money is really really tight at your house - meaning no money available. Your mother could be just scraping by. Get a job if possible and say that you really need some things that you will be paying for. Then work to get them. Tell your mother that you will explain where the money goes and she will not have to worry about you using your money for drugs or alcohol. I grew up where money was tight and I know how that is....
Reply:call the CPS (or if you don't have CPS call child welfare or call the police) your mother is mean...i hope you can get over this..because you sound nice and i think you wouldn't have done something ver y evil for her to hate you
Reply:i would tell someone
Reply:i fell the same way ok not really my mom isnt that mean tell her your run away if she dont take care of you
Reply:i agree with everyone with what they have said. this is not good, please tell somebody, it may be hard to tell them (CPS or even police) but in the end they will look after you and make sure you are not treated like that
