Can you feel your teeth moving?

I%26#039;ve got braces to move my buck teeth straighter and I%26#039;d like to know how to get rid of the annoying feeling of my teeth moving? I feel tickling under my nose 24/7, help!

Can you feel your teeth moving?
If it%26#039;s pressure you%26#039;re feeling, there%26#039;s not a whole lot you can do about that, but if it%26#039;s painful, try some orajel or take a few Tylenol.

Reply:Some people can feel their teeth moving with braces (I could, too), but I don%26#039;t know of anyway to stop that feeling. I mean, you got the braces specifically to move those teeth, right? So why complain about the movement? :D

At best, you can rub them if it irritates you.

Reply:basically, that%26#039;s what%26#039;s supossed to happen. your teeth are moving due to the braces. not much to do.try some ibuprofin if it%26#039;s painful but it should stop or you%26#039;ll get used to it. odds are, you may feel this a little bit each time your braces are tightened.
Reply:Well, this is really normal. And, if anything, a good thing.

That means your braces are doing what they are supposed to do and there%26#039;s really no way to stop it. Think of it this way, at least they%26#039;re not hurting your teeth! ^-^

Try doing something else to get your mind off of it. Maybe watch TV, or, if your the digital type, play a computer game or a video game. Or go take a walk or something.

Just remember that it%26#039;s a good thing if you feel that.

Good luck with your braces.

When they come off, you%26#039;ll have perfect teeth! :D
