My 2 front teeth- PLEASE ANSWER!!!!?

My teeth are very straight. I have never had braces and they are just lined up perfectly. Just I do have one problem that is not a problem with the dentist, but a problem with me. My 2 front teeth are longer than all the others. They don%26#039;t stick out because they are straight, but I feel people just stare at them. Does this make me look like I have buck teeth?! Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do?

My 2 front teeth- PLEASE ANSWER!!!!?
Ask your dentist. They could smooth them down. But the 2 front teeth are usually longer. If they aren%26#039;t bothering you when eating or talking, maybe just leave it. It%26#039;s better to have them healthy instead of smoothing them and who knows what can come of it down the road. Ppl are prob staring because of your straight teeth, which is great, let them stare. I do because I had braces before and they%26#039;re still not straight enough. Sorry, I%26#039;m one of them, lol. But only because I%26#039;m envious, lol. =)
Reply:The central incisors are always the longest teeth in the mouth so this is normal. The lateral incisors, the teeth next to the middle ones, are usually 1-1 1/2 mm shorter. Look at the canines, third ones back, and they should be on the same plane as the centrals. If not you could do enamelplasty where a small amount of enamel is removed from the centrals making them shorter.
Reply:If they are really long and bother you, ask your dentist if it would be safe to grind them down a little. I had that done years ago with no ill effect.
Reply:talk to your dentist.this bothers you so see if there is something that can be done to make them match up with your teeth.i know how you feel but sadly i do have an overbite and bad teeth my parents could not afford braces so i have suffered because of it my whole life.you cant help what other people think just do whats right for you! good luck.
Reply:You could always have the dentist file them down a little so they are not as long. We have done this on patients many times at the office I worked for.
Reply:The natural curvature of the teeth is to appear longer in the front and shorter as you progress back. Buck teeth are teeth that actually tilt outward not down. If your teeth are healthy and you aren%26#039;t biting your lips all the time I would say, leave them alone.
Reply:People might stare at you but it is not your teeth they are looking at.

Normal that the teeth be on different levels and we all have it.

Get over thinking you are someone to be admired.
Reply:cut them. lol
Reply:You can cut them down, ask the ORTHO
