Quick QUESTion about teeth?
I have Invisalign :))

Probably the best thing ever! haha

My dentist said that if I got braces it would take almost 2 years, but with Invisalign it will be only 11 months :))

I am now about 2/3 done,

and I%26#039;m really happy with the results I%26#039;m seeing!

I had a bit of an overbite too, and my teeth have really changed since the first day I got them :)

But you definitely have to be very responsible,

you have to wear them 24/7, but not when eating, and they can%26#039;t stay out for more then one hour.

I definitely find myself brushing my teeth more often.

But in the I really recommend them :)

If you get Invisalign I%26#039;m sure that you%26#039;ll be super happy in the end :)
Reply:Either would work
Reply:Invisalign does not really work that well. It is the most costly and the least effective. You can get braces on the part of the tooth that is facing your mouth but invisalign is terrible. I know you do not care about money but I am just telling you normal braces are the best choice. Sometime your teeth will fix themselves and Invisalign is not for people with buck teeth and an overbite it is for people who have gaps. I hope I helped!
Reply:braces... if you have an overbite you might also have to end up getting an appliance called a herbst
Reply:You should ask your orthodontist these questions, especially regarding what your teeth will look like %26quot;finished.%26quot; You want to make sure that you have realistic expectations.

FYI: In general, you get the same result with both traditional bracket appliances (%26quot;braces%26quot;) and invisalign. The issue with invisalign is related to compliance (will you wear them?) and that it isn%26#039;t suitable for all cases. If, however, your orthodontist has given you a choice, it means that either will work for your particular case.

You should think about your lifestyle and decide from there. Are you going to keep the invisalign appliances in your mouth all day, even at school, even when they make you talk a bit funny? Are you going to gross out your friends when you take them out for lunch, and then slip them back in? Are you going to be self-conscious about having braces? And will you comply with braces and not chew gum, etc.
Reply:regular metal braces, they work faster and they could get it outta ur way quicker
Reply:Well it depends. It really doesnt matter. I have had my braces for a year now and they work really well. All my teeth are pretty straight. But all my friends have had the metal braces. So i guess they would work the same. I hope this helps!
