I am 20 years old and my teeth are making me very self-concious?

my teeth are in bad condition they are bucked and realy make me unhappy! i think im very pretty in every other way. im very bubbly and it makes me not want to smile in front of people and very aware. i need to know if dentures would be the best option? iv looked in2 implant and simply cant afford it x

Dentures are a last resort for a dentist. They don%26#039;t ever want to pull teeth unless they have to. Because while dentures might be straighter, they still aren%26#039;t as good as your own teeth. And you don%26#039;t want to be 20 and have false teeth for the rest of your life.





Look into what it would cost to straighten your teeth. Implants, to me, are a ripoff. They%26#039;re what Hollywood stars get to have that really perfect look. You don%26#039;t have that kind of money. See what braces would cost. Almost all orthodontists take payment plans where you pay a little per month. See if you can afford that. Or, find out what the cost would be, get a decent job, and start saving up. Or find a job with dental insurance.

Reply:You don%26#039;say whether you have tried a brace, my daughter is 21 and she is just about to go back and ask for another because her mouth has changed and she wants to re-straighten them? whats the problem with that! you should realy have sorted this out when you knew they were wonky like at 14-15, however, its not too late to go
Reply:i%26#039;m afraid there isn%26#039;t going to be a cheap solution. braces would be a more appropriate option if your teeth are otherwise in good condition. but that will cost you too. maybe you should look into fianancing options.
Reply:Full dentures may make you even more self conscious and once done that can%26#039;t be undone. If there are probs it is sometimes to have all your teeth whacked out and get dentures but I should think hard about it.
