Can I go to sauna with braces?

I just got braces yesterday to repair my buck-teeth and was wondering if I can go to sauna with them. I don't want my braces to "melt" in my mouth!

If your braces would melt , your internal organs would explode ! It's not like you are drinking boiling water ! Even so , I'm sure they are made to withstand a certain amount of heat , or you could never eat hot foods ! I'm sure you would notice them getting hotter , before you were in any danger , then you could just get out ! I think you will be fine , but if you are stilll concerned , ask your dentist or orthadontist , just to be sure !!

Reply:Do not worry. If you skin stays on without being cooked your braces will just fine. :)





With mouth closed the temperature inside will be the same as always. Your braces won't melt.

Reply:yes, you can go in the sauna. No problem. I use to do that once a week for years. No melting, mouth burning/heating up, etc. . ;)
