Help!!! I think my cat swallowed something!!!!!?

My kitty has a little ball that has a rattle in it. I went somewhere and came back and found it busted and the rattle is missing. I looked for the rattle but couldn't find it. What should I do. I found it this afternoon and going to the vet is probably not an option since idk if she actually swallowed it. I'm really scared and I'm twelve and I don't know what to tell my parents. The rattle isn't very big but it's kind of sharp so it could kill her. It's not only not very big it's about the size of one of your buck teeth.

just tell your parents what happed and see how she acts if she starts to act funny like not eatting or throwing up then you know she did and its time to go to the vet. just tell your parnets they will no what to do
Reply:the vet can x ray the cat to look for the rattle. Sometimes a cat ingests something and it can cause a blockage in the intestines. They will vomit and not eat. I think the only way to correct a blockage is to have surgery. You should ask your vet what to do. You should definitley tell your parents what's going on.

Make her eat sauerkraut. I'm not kidding. It will wrap itself around any object and cushion the sharp edges.


She may even puke it out afterwards.


Now, how you get your cat to eat sauerkraut is a different question. I would get some yummy canned wet food and mix in some sauerkraut with it.
